Luggage storage facility can be found at Windermere Information, so you don’t have to carry the weight of you bags whilst you enjoy your day in The Lake District.

Whether you are just arriving and can not check into your accommodation or you are sadly leaving us or even just here for a day trip, you will be able to use our luggage storage facility.

How does it work?

1. Drop your luggage with us at any point during our opening hours

2. Check your luggage in 

3. Go and Enjoy our beautiful Lake District

That’s it, No Hassle, No Fuss!

No need to book in advance just turn up.

 We are just located by Windermere Train Station/Bus Station (Postcode LA23 1AD)

Please do not place any of your belongings in the lockers until you have your correct locker number and paid, you can do this at

No overnight luggage storage

Do not leave any cash/valuables in your luggage

Strictly No Drugs, Weapons, Sharp Objects

Last collection for luggage is 30 minutes before closing time

PLEASE NOTE THE LUGGAGE AREA IS LOCKED AT CLOSING TIME

If you arrive after closing time you will be charged a release fee. If this is the case please call on 015394 45161

Any Luggage not collected will be handed to the police
